It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Abel (Vernon, British Columbia), who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Abel and Viola Abel; his sisters, Rita Stark and Bev Cudworth; the mother of his children Norma Jackson; and his grandson Ryan Laird.

He is survived by: his children, Irene Laird, Russell Abel and Clayton Abel; his sister Patricia Gibbings; and his grandchildren, Jordan Laird, Brandon Abel, ShyAnn Abel, Sheridan Abel, Brittany Tishenko and Ashley Abel. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Joseph's memory may be made to a charity such as the BC Cancer Society, 4-H, or the BC Cattlemen's Association.
