He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Watts and Mary Watts; his siblings, Maurice Watts, Nola Pfrimmer and Beatrice; and his daughter Jamie Rene Watts (Samkow).

He is survived by: his granddaughter Tanesha Megan Watts; his great grandchild Olivia Mary Watts of Prince George; and his close friend Lea Gail Parkhurst. He is also survived by his 12 brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
