The passing of Marija Cecic (Vancouver, British Columbia) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andrija; her parents, Karmina and Mladin; and her siblings, Ante, Ivo and Tonka.
She is survived by: her sons, Zeljko (Tanja) and Tony (Nikki); her grandchildren, Tea, Brigita, Mathew, Noah and Adam; and her sister Mikica. She is also survived by extended family and close supportive friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Parish (3105 E 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC V5M1B6).
In lieu of flowers, donations if desired, may be made to the Burnaby Hospital Foundation with deep respect and appreciation to the Doctors and Nurses that cared for her at that location over the years.
