In the sacred silence of farewell, Anna is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theo Mason and Winifred; her daughter Ellawyn (Mark); her grandchildren, Brandon (Louis), Jarett and Elyse; and her siblings, Elspeth (Matthew) and John. She was also cherished by five nephews, three nieces, and several grand-nephews and nieces.

In recent years Anna was a member of the Greater Van Gogos, assisting the Stephen Lewis Foundation in their work for African grandmothers raising children and youth orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
