She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Thomas and Lucy Thomas; her siblings, Isobel Bazire and Mark Thomas; her sister-in-law Diane Ludlow; and her husband Derek Rowland Wright.

She is survived by: her sons, Matthew (Monika) and James (Kathleen); and her grandchildren, Brendan (Samantha), Madeleine (David), Declan and Caedmon.
