She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dexter and Frances Dexter; and her sister Patricia Durant. She is survived by: her husband Guent Driedger; her stepsons, Arthur Driedger (Heather) and Brent Driedger (Allana); and her grandchildren, Darion, Brodin, Tess and Kendra.

Multiple debilitating health issues, along with a diagnosis of early-stage Alzheimer's Disease ended with Jean in hospital suffering intolerably.
