He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bell and Jean Bell. He is survived by: his wife Esther; his daughters, Sarah (Richard) and Melissa (Christian); his grandsons, Eben and Harrison; and his sisters, Jeanette (Allen) and Reta (Smith).

A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Valley View Memorial Gardens (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7). A reception was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7).
