He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Winkler and Beryntha Winkler of California; and his sister Laurel Watt of Washington. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Erick (Lauri), Paul (Katie) and Laurel (Eric); his grandchildren, Quincy, Sabine and Violet; his brother-in-law Gavin; and his nieces, Megan and Bronwen.
