He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl and Ella (Drinnan); his brothers, Richard, Wayne and Gary; and his grandson Kole (Schmidt).
He is survived by: his wife Verla (Holden); his children, Malcolm (Joanne), Valerie Schmidt (Larry), Rick (Loreli) and Delaine Dopp (Mike); and his brother Jim. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
