She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo Birtig; and her siblings, Luciano, Giovanni, Armandina and Ersilia.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Nauer (Doug), Tor Birtig (Brandy) and Rita Shigeoka (Tony); her sister-in-law Rita Martella; her cousin Ana Prosperi-Porta; and her sisters, Maria, Bruna and Luigina. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
