It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Madelaine Heard of Courtenay, British Columbia, born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her close friend Richard Allebone; and her parents, Elie Lirondelle and Louise Lirondelle (Perrault). She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Barnie (James); her grandchildren, Claire Barnie and Sam Barnie; and her stepdaughters, Susan Allebone and Christine Allebone. She is also survived by cousins, and many lifelong friends.
