He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Bestebroer and Gre Bestebroer; his siblings, Jaap, Trudy and Joke; his wife Rika; and his son Jacob.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Tenbrinke (Wally) of Chilliwack, BC, Jane Langbroek (Casey) of Chilliwack, BC, Rita Tenbrinke (Bert) of Lacombe, AB and Gerty Shipmaker (Ian) of Salmon Arm, BC; his daughter-in-law Pat Bestebroer of Chilliwack, BC.; and his sisters, Gre VanZwet, Adrie Bestebroer, Honey Bestebroer and Jannie Bestebroer. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.
