She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Burke; her parents, Lorne Thompson and Margarette Thompson; and her brothers, Boyd Thompson and Rodger Thompson.

She is survived by: her daughter Kellie Buchanan (Trevor); her grandchildren, Tyler and Nicole; and her brother Bruce Thompson (Olive). She is also survived by numerous family members and many dear friends.
