He is survived by: his wife Karen Smyl; his children, Brenda Sanche (Leonard), Tina Pickard (Tom), Audrey Smyl and Darren Smyl (Andrea); his grandchildren, Dagny, Caellen, Adam, Patrick, Kelly, Haley, Jeffrey, Danny, Madison, Fallon and Cooper; and his siblings, Leonard Smyl, John Smyl, Henry Smyl, Joe Smyl (Maureen) and Eileen Junck.
