She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Barbara; her stepfather Lawrence Powell; and her siblings, Andy Kopas (Josephine) and Margaret.

She is survived by: her husband Mike; her granddaughters, Miranda, Chantelle and Reanne; and her sister Barbara Miciak (Dennis). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
