It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William David McGrath (Vermilion, Alberta), who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, Duff McGrath and Mary McGrath; and his brother-in-law Ed Tribe. He is survived by: his children, David McGrath (Vicky) of Nelson, B. C., Ellen McLennan (Don Hicks) of St. Albert and Catherine Lee (Craig) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Finn, Wynne McGrath, Liam McLennan (Samantha), Alec McLennan (Kristyn), Sydni Hicks-MacDonald, Lucas and Mya Lee; and his siblings, Fred McGrath (Anne) of Vermilion, Margaret Vivyurka (Albert) of Elliot Lake, Ont and Eleanore Tribe of Nanton. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and extended family.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family service is being held.
