She was predeceased by: her husband Roland Buchanan; her parents, Percy Nixey and May Nixey; and her brother Melvin Nixey. She is survived by: her children, Allen Buchanan (Tereena Morelli) of Edmonton, Glen Buchanan (Bev) of Vermilion and Brenda Charlton (Maurice) of Czar; her grandchildren, Kelly (Calvin), Ryan (Ashley), Regan (Dean), Corbyn (Mikaelae), Coleman (Amber) and Callahan (Dakota); her great grandchildren, Reece, Sloane, Knox, Carrington, Addison, Emerson and Whitley; her sister Audrey Curtis (Gladys Tunke) of Vermilion; and her sister-in-law Kay Kutny (Bill) of Kelowna. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
