It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jean Shirley Paré (Vermilion, Alberta), born in Irma, Alberta, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Clarence Lovig; her husband Hilaire Paré (Larry); her parents, Edward Elford and Ruby Elford; her siblings, Haviland Elford (Havie) and Evelyn De Tro; her son-in-law John Sweeney; and her grandson Shawn Sweeney.

She is survived by: her children, Lyall (Cynthia), Brian (Linda), Grant (Frieda) and Gail (Larry Eskelson); her stepchildren, Robert (Karen), Maxine Sweeney and Larry (Dolores); and her brother Ted Elford (Anna). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
