She was predeceased by: her husband Howard; her daughter Anita Coburn; her parents, Thorvald "Tom" Nelson and Margit Nelson; her siblings, Eric Nelson (Jean), John Nelson (Shirley), Esther Phillippe (Vincent) and Margaret Patterson; and her son-in-law Marvin Waltz.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Waltz of Vermilion, Linda Piskunowicz (Lucas) of Stony Plain, Murray Coburn (Katherine) of Vermilion, Brenda Wenckowski (Gerry) of Edmonton, Candice Enjeneski (Bob) of Edmonton, Lori Coburn of Edmonton and Lexie Pierce (Ron) of St Albert; her grandchildren, Troy Waltz, Trent Waltz, Kelly Waltz, Daine Piskunowicz, Craig Piskunowicz, Blair Coburn, Brett Coburn, Kyle Wenckowski, Paul Wenckowski, Lindsay Enjeneski, Sheena Riener, Nathan Boaden, Chalsi Boaden, Melissa Pierce and Megan Pierce; and her siblings, Robert Nelson (Carol) of Vermilion and Evelyn Smythe of Calgary.
