She was predeceased by: her parents, Pelahia Chmilar and Ivan Chmilar; her husband John; and her son Gerald. She is survived by: her sister Emily Gorgichuk (Steve); her sons, Lawrence (Wendy) and Robert (Jan); her grandchildren, Tara (Craig), Dana (Chris), Stephanie (Steven), Michael (Kaitlyn), Jeremy and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Stori, Chase, Katherine, Sophie, Olivia and Charlotte.

A private service will be held in Plain Lake - donations can be made to Plain Lake Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church.
