He was predeceased by: his parents, John Patrie and Phyllis Patrie; his sister Helen Ulan (Walter); and his brother-in-law Steve Fedoruk. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Terry, Darlene Holynski, Tracy McFadden (Don) and Karen Wowk (Zane); his grandchildren, Darcy (Trina), Hannah Patrie, Rochelle Holynski, Cole, Kyle, Jennifer McFadden, Ryan, Shayne and Nikkolette Wowk; and his siblings, Elsie Fedoruk and Ernie Patrie (Agnes). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the "Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.".
