He was predeceased by: his wife Eva; his brother Walter; his father Donald Alvin; and his grandparents, Edith Babcock and Zeba Babcock.

He is survived by: his children, Shelley Sullivan (Brad) of Edmonton, Cindy Nicolis of Edmonton and Paul of Tofield; his grandchildren, Jasmin, Ulysses, Nathan and Joseph; and his mother Fern Van Den Dolder.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
