He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm and Dorathea; his brother Juergen; and his half-sister Ingrid. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Janine and Kevin (Erin); his brother Heinz (Elisabeth); his sister-in-law Garmien; and his half-brothers, Horst (Annelise) and Gustav.
