He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hayes and Christina Hayes; his siblings, Henry Hayes, John Hayes, Ruth Roberts, Delores McMullen and Roger Hayes; his stepson Douglas Driscoll; and his sister-in-law Julia L'Hirondelle.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl L'Hirondelle; his sons, Elmer Hayes and Tracy Hayes (Leah); his stepdaughter Sheila Bannert (Joe Belcourt); and his siblings, Francis McKillop and Thomas Hayes. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
