He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vera Reid and Alex Reid; his wife Diane Reid; his son Tony Reid (Ilsen); his grandsons, Blake, Marco and Ryan; his great grandchild Grayson; his daughter Chris Sidorenko (Yul); his granddaughters, Lexi and Tini; and his siblings, Ron, George, Allan, Larry, Laura, Barb, Janine, Carrie and Patsy. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
