With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Black (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on January 30, 2020 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thelma Black to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ed; her son Bill; her nephew David; her son-in-law Norman Stirling M. D.; her daughter Debbie; and her siblings, Beatrice, Gordon and Frederick.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Stirling and Alan Black (Laura); her grandchildren, Noel (Erin Marie), Erin Leanne (Bryan) and Carson (Tatyana); her great grandchildren, Liam, Julia, Sierra and Gabriel; her sister-in-law Barbara Horsfield; and her nieces and nephews, Joan, Janice, Jacqueline, Jane, Diane, Sharon, Jeff of Alberta, Jim, John, Rick, Chris, Brian and Marc of Ontario. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
