He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gurdas Ram and Puran Devi; his grandmothers, Datt Sharma and Pushpa; his daughters, Madhu and Lalita; his wife Pushpa Sharma; his son Chander Sharma (Francina); his grandchildren, Madhu Badoni (Atul), Lalita Nault, Nisha Minhas (Rick), Rayna, Eshana, Nikhil, Aksana, Avinash, Saahil, Jiya and Simran; and his siblings, Krishna Sharma of New Zealand, Brahm Datt and Jagdish Datt. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
