It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Swift (Butler) Gaetz (Red Deer, Alberta), who passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband William Gaetz; her husband Melvin Swift; her parents, George Butler and Kathleen Butler; her brother John Butler (Edna); her grandson Steven Chalmers; and her stepdaughter Debbie Swift.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Schmuland (Vern), Dianne Lutz (Doug), Patricia Gaetz, Barbara McMaster (Greg), Rae-Lynn Gaetz (Darwin) and Cathy Giesbrecht (Art); and her stepchildren, Don Swift (Terry) and Donna Cates (Craig). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
