It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Idland (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kory; and her siblings, Helen, Laura and Paul. She is survived by: her sons, Brian and Gary; and her grandchildren, Kari (Brad), Karsten, Kyle, Keith and Kara Idland.

She spoke her mind but always with kindness and good intentions. She brought sparkle and fun wherever she went. I will always remember meeting her in the Bay and she directly helped my husband Tim get himself a proper outfit. There was no other way, but he find something nice! Such a classy lady!”
