George Vanden Brink Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2020, at the age of 85, George Vanden Brink of Red Deer, Alberta passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Vanden Brink to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacoba Jantina Vanden Brink (Coba) and Bernardus Vanden Brink; and his brothers, Dirk, Maas "Max" and Jakob "Jake".

He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Koster (Leany); his children, Jeanette Heyens (Paul) of Airdrie, David VandenBrink (Pei) of Leduc, Ken VandenBrink (Albertina) of Red Deer, Doug VandenBrink (Francie Hawthorne) of Carstairs and Roy VandenBrink (Dena) of Airdrie; his siblings, Tony (Kay), Casey (Evelyn), Ben (Denise), Femmie Tenhove, Anne Pohl (Dan), Cobi Visser (Henk), Jean Pohl (Robert), Marijke Gough (John) and Johanna Wiersma (Alex); and his sisters-in-law, Truus VandenBrink, Ethel VandenBrink and Carol Hansen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers it is the family's wish that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
