He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Walz and Tilly Walz; his parents-in-law, Dennis Baier and Audrey Baier; his sister Marlene Heck; and his niece Dorinda Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Roxie; his children, Paige and Devon; his brother-in-law Lloyd Heck (Mary); his siblings, Diane Fletcher (Larry), Brenda Friedt (Randy) and Barry Walz (Donna); his sisters-in-law, Wanda Rutschke (Dwayne) and Michelle Kaniusis (Dale); his stepmother-in-law Margaret Baier; and his nieces and nephews, Trevor Heck (Terry), Trina Heron (Richard), Theresa Fletcher, Ivan Katerenchuk, Travis Fletcher, Sheldon Friedt (Jennifer), Kevin Friedt (Rhonda), Christopher Friedt (Angela), Kristen, Janna, Kylie Walz, Dylan, Blake Rutschke, Dawson and Drew.
Due to Covid-19, a private memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 25 at 1:00 p. m. at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820 45 St, Red Deer, AB.
