He was predeceased by: his mother Verna Potts; his grandparents, Louis, Pauline Potts, Charles, Nellie Sokwaypnace and Stacy Threefingers; his close friend Cheyenne Crane; his siblings, Dion Johnson, Brandon Baptiste, Edison Lightning and Jason Pruden; and his aunts, Corinne Potts, Turning Point, Safe Harbour, Karen Baptiste, Tanya Northwest (Travis James) and Red Deer (Donny Okeymow).

He is survived by: his sisters, Terri Potts and Jerri Sokwaypnace (Thomas); his father Gary Sokwaypnace; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew (Meredith), Jonah, Letitia (Jay) and Larson.
