It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Hatala (Ponoka, Alberta), born in Coleman, Alberta, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hatala and Martha Hatala; and his siblings, Joe (Agnes), Louis Hatala (Lillian) and Anne Sachs (Fred).
He is survived by: his children, Joe, Louis, Anne, Mike and John; his daughter-in-law Doreen Larsen; his wife Doreen; his daughters, Val Somerville (Rob) and Janet Sperber (Ron); his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Brayden (Kennedy), Colton Somerville, Samantha Havelaar (Vince) and Jessica Sperber; and his great grandchildren, Declan, Abigail, Silas, Michael and Charlotte.
