It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loureen Giroux (Ponoka, Alberta), who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Susan Giroux and John Giroux; her grandparents, John, Jeannie Ermineskin, Daniel (Ambrose) and Emilia Giroux; her siblings, Richard, Tiny, Dexter Sr., Curtis Sr., Earl Sr. and Ralph Giroux; her close friend Floyd McGilveray; and her aunts and uncles, Jimmy, Gilbert, George, Fred Ermineskin, MaryJane Saddleback and Philomena Samson.
She is survived by: her children, Lori, Carl, Melodie, Lillian, Jackie, Tia (Roger) and Darius (R'Lynn); her grandchildren, Christina, Elisa, Janelle, Lilly, Riley, Keyonna, Jr., Chance, Logan, Lexi, Nxyen, Ezekiel, Jessica, Peter, Chuckie G and Charmain C; her siblings, Rene Giroux, Hazel Houle, Wendy MacDonald (Noal), Trina MacDonald (Barry) and Sheila Okeynan; and her aunt Edna Boucher.
