Louise Block Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Louise Block of Ponoka, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Norman and Irene Norman; her husband Roger Block; her son David Block; and her siblings, Neil Norman and Lorraine Lychak.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Leach (Dan) and Diane Block (Daryl); her grandchildren, Kyle Leach (Dani), Jackie Wirch, Corey Leach (Courtnee), Brett Wirch (Julie) and Cody Leach (Abby); her great grandchildren, Connor Wirch and Liam Leach; and her siblings, Kenny, Dwayne (Lillian), Murray (Jackie), Merle (Sheila), Bernice and Marilyn (Fernie). She is also survived by extended family and treasured friends.
Due to the current Covid restrictions in place, there will be no service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Louise's memory to the Ponoka & District Health Foundation - Ponoka Long Term Care Centre (5800 57th Avenue, Ponoka, AB T4J 1P1) where she spent her last years being cared for, or the Alzheimer Society of Alberta (10430 61 Avenue NW #306, Edmonton, AB T6H 2J3) .
