He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie (Gritchen); his parents, Phoebe Scott and Francis Scott; his brothers, Jim and Leon Scott; and his sisters-in-law, Georgie Scott, Sharon Scott and Margaret Lyne.

He is survived by: his children, Lynn Croft (George), Paul Scott (Barb) and Steve Scott (Mona); his grandchildren, Tyler Croft (Rachel), Ryan Croft (Brooke), Brandon Croft, Emerson Scott (Candace) and Shanea Scott (Jason); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Jaxon Fournier and Ophelia Scott; his siblings, Ervie Scott, Eddie Scott (Irene), Marion Campbell, Vivian McCaughey (George), Lyn Christianson (Barry) and Gwen Andrews (Dave); his sisters-in-law, Linda Scott, Irene Durocher (Don), Lanna Lyne-Bryant and Pat Lyne; and his cousin Irene Paulsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
