She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert; her parents, Elizabeth Holmes and James Holmes; and her siblings, Tom, Bob, Neil, Dan, Beatrice, Evie, Millie and Betty.

She is survived by: her children, James, Diane Myrglod (Eugene), Joyce Moren (Bernie), Herbert (Kathy), Carolyn Gainer (Fred) and Rosemarie; and her sister-in-law Gertrude Hagen. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

If anyone desires, memorial tributes in Helen's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
