He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dancey and Mary Dancey; and his son Bud Dancey. He is survived by: his wife Judy Wagar; and his children, Maureen Bossert, Donna Jans (Don) and Steve Dancey (Heather). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Due to COVID-19 there will be a private family graveside service.
