He is survived by: his children, Duncan Smith (Jennifer) of Exshaw, AB and Mackenzie Hammond (Alec) of Drumheller, AB; his wife Kate Smith of Medicine Hat, AB; his stepchildren, Richard and Michelle; and his siblings, Joyce Mahon (Roy), Wayne and Richard Smith (Brenda).
