It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Gilliland (Medicine Hat, Alberta), born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 3, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Bertha Mae King (Dishaw); and her pet Brandy. She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, David (Sydney), Robert (Marianne) and Marnie (Andrew Bevan); her grandchildren, Adina (Frank), Tyrus (Tonja), Sharla (Kyle), Eric (Stacey), Nicole, Alexandra (Benjamin) and Rhys; her great grandchildren, Quinn, Ari, Tristan, Townes, Arlen, Callum, Sawyer, Paxton and Wren; her brother Lorne; and her nephew Dean.
