It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Joy Himes-Lyght of Medicine Hat, Alberta, born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marg Kusznier and Ed Kusznier; her husbands, Wally Himes and John Lyght; and her brothers, Dave Kusznier (June) and Bill Kusznier.

She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Boon, Donna Luchies (Stewart) and Melissa Luchies; her grandchildren, Andrew Luchies (Colleen), Christopher Luchies (Sarah), Kathryn and Taralyn Boon; and her great grandchildren, Kale, Aurora and Genevieve Luchies.
