He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his parents, Witalis and Maria; his father-in-law James; his brothers, Tony, Joseph and Walter; and his brother-in-law Wayne.

He is survived by: his son Daniel (Tara); his grandchildren, Zack (Nicole) and Kalin; his son Rob (Marsha); his grandchildren, Tyler and Avery; his son Darin (Chantal); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jaxson and Aliyah; his son Randy; his brother Victor (Judy); his mother-in-law Alma Cockburn; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl, Linda, Laurie (Jerry), Theresa and Ken (Corrine). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
