She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Simas; and her parents, John Gorel and Mariette Gorel. She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Simas (Chie) and Tim Simas (Mandee); her grandson Telo Simas; her siblings, Barb Snyder (John), Joyce Rendle (Vince) and Gary Gorel (Andrea); and her sister-in-law Maria Demello (Manuel).
