He was predeceased by : his wife Patricia Nidish; his parents, Bill Nidish and Frances Nidish; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Nidish and Frank Fournier.

He is survived by : his children, Bonnie Palmer (Colin), Kevin Nidish (Nicole) and George Nidish (Jillian Doucet); and his siblings, Bob Nidish and Audrey Fournier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and some great-great-nieces and nephews.
