She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Mae and Annie Mae; and her son Gerald Hamel. She is survived by: her husband Arthur "Art" Hamel; her children, Joan Wilson (Darryl), Michelle Jarrett, Richard Hamel and Annette Greening (George); and her brother Art Doucette (Joyce). She is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
