He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Hauer and Elsie Hauer of Hillmond, SK.; his wife Kathleen (Kay); his children, Debra (Blair), Arlene (Bob), John (Kerry) and Gerald (Colleen); his grandchildren, Bradley (Allison), Bryan (Rebecca), Chris (Stephanie), Adam (Katie), Michelle (Garrett), Neil (Dani) and Amanda (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Laurel, Preston and Rowan; his siblings, Marian (Mel) and Vernon (Charlotte); his sister-in-law Gertie; and his brother Harold.
