He was predeceased by: his mother Jeanette of Onion Lake, Saskatchewan.; his son Spencer Morningchild; his grandparents, Virginia Wolfe, Patrick Bighead, Edward and Allice Chief; his niece Serenity; and his aunts and uncles, John, Willie, Martin, Douglas, Fred, Kenneth, Norman Wolfe, Rose, Edna, Joyce, Rachel, Violet Chief, Rena and Anna Wolfe.
He is survived by: his children, Joel, Hayden and Maddison; and his siblings, Byron, Ron (Cheryl), Blake, Justin, Jeanine, Danielle and Jocelyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and also many cousins.
