He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Weir; his children, Dale Melchert, Dave Melchert, Dennis Melchert, Jeanette Mcall, Duane Melchert, Laurie Melchert and Dean Melchert; his grandchildren, Jared, Alexandra, Stephanie, Cheyenne, Justeen, Maxwell, Ryder, David, Elizabeth, Dylan, Justin, Brett, Cody and Masyn; his great grandchild Bodhi; and his siblings, Sandra Wasylucha and Norm Melchert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
