He was predeceased by: his brother Lucas (Susan) of Nobleford; his wife Diny Moes; his son Quincy; his great grandchild Mackenna; and his daughter Wilma Meindertsma.
He is survived by: his son Lucas (Lamkje); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Kristi), Daniel (Moira), Joel (Rachel), Karla Van Driesten (Ken), Elizabeth (Justin), Toom and Emily Bolink (Kelsey); his son Albert (Ellen); his grandchildren, Christopher (Lindsay), Edward (Mandy), Jodi (James Ebrey) and Andrew (Jessica); his son-in-law Martin Meindertsma; his grandchildren-in-law, David Meindertsma (Vala), Jolene Lawrence (Robert), William, Bryan (Wendy), Jim (Carol) and Tim (Benita); his sister-in-law Tita (Roeli Moes) of Diamond City; his cousin Hans Steenbergen of Lethbridge; and also, Rachel, Mikaela, Ainsley, Kaitlyn, Dayna Hawkeye (Nick), Jaime Oancia (Taylen), Michael (Sianna) and Matthew. He is also survived by 38 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
