He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mrs Anne Pastoor; his parents, Klass Pastoor and Jantina Pastoor; his siblings, Peter (Mavis), Frouk and Bill (Phyllis); his children, Tina (Randy), Teresa, Robert (Sharmon), Rodney (Nancy), Wes Post (Binhwa), Natalie Sauer (Brent) and Colin Post (Brenna Oulette); his nieces and nephews, Grace Lommerts (Joop), Joan Pastoor, Kathy Pastoor, Florence Christophers (Sean), Shelagh Pastoor, Bridget Mearns (Kirk), Florence Look (Bruce), Clarence Taal (Lynette), Amber Dueck (Garrett) and Angela Levesque (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Piercon Knezic, Mackenzie Meunier, Chase Pastoor, Jordyn Pastoor, Talina Pastoor, Tylan Pastoor, Jaclyn Sauer (Grey), Jen Kerslake (Andy), Jerrid Sauer (Benita), Alannah Reinhardt, Alex Reinhardt, Cassandra Oulette, Nicolas Oulette, Kora, Lincoln Sauer, Mason and Jonah Kerslake.
